NYSAMC was formed for the purpose of advancing and promoting the mutual interests of minority and women contractors throughout the State of New York. NYSAMC is a Chapter of The National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC), located in Washington, D.C.

Eligibility: Membership is open to all contracting firms with at least 51% ownership, controlled and actively managed by one of the following: African American, Hispanic American, American Indian, Asian American, Woman, or Other (specify).

TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP:

NATIONAL LEADERSHIP MEMBERSHIP - Fee $1200
Open to all board members and firms, who in addition to State Chapter benefits, shall be entitled to the most benefits of membership in the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC)Washington, D.C.

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP - Fee $500
Open to firms over three (3) years in business who provide prime contract, sub contract, labor or services to the construction industry.

ENTRY MEMBERSHIP - Fee $250
Open to companies who are less than three (3) years in business and provide subcontract, labor, or services to the construction industry.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP - Fee $1500
Open to firms, agencies and other groups in related fields providing services to the construction industry / or acting as advocates for S/M/W/BEs.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP - Fee starts at $5000 (Details available upon request)
Open to construction firms and other organizations interested in developing meaningful business relations with NYSAMC and promoting S / M/ W/ BEs , WBE and LBEs.
